This is on my short list of events to make it to this weekend. And I will blame the fabulous @ATL_Events for every pound I gain, as she’s the one who tipped me off to it:
On May 14, the 2011 Atlanta Food Blogger Bake Sale will take place at Phipps Plaza in conjunction with the Luxury Living Show. Words cannot express how much I love this concept…Atlanta’s food bloggers baking, and then selling, their wares? How can this be anything less than awesome? I bake well, but I know I can’t compete with the concoctions they can whip up.
Even sweeter: The proceeds will be donated to Save Our Strength. You are, of course, welcome to donate directly to the cause. As little as $1 can help to provide a hungry child with 10 healthy meals. The Atlanta food bloggers have a goal of raising $500 for the cause–you can go to the team page for the 2011 Atlanta Food Blogger Bake Sale to track their progress or donate.
