A few years ago, my kids discovered roller skating at a birthday party, and they’re hooked. They’re terrible at it, but that doesn’t stop them from trying to work their way around the rink. And they give ice skating their best effort, too. We may need to take advantage of one of these coupons so they can skate on the cheap this summer in Atlanta:
At KidsSkateFree.com, you can register at participating skating rinks to receive coupons that’ll let your kids skate free this summer (age varies by location). In Georgia, the deal is valid at Sparkles Family Fun Centers (Hiram, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, & Smyrna), Hot Wheels Skate Center in Woodstock, & more. Once you register, you’ll receive a weekly email with free skating coupons, which are valid during the “Kids Skate Free” hours listed on the registration page. Skate rental is extra, though you can bring your own skates if you have them.
Plus, you’ll often find skating discounts in the mix of “Things to Do” deals on Groupon. And the 2018 Atlanta Entertainment book also includes skating coupons.
For instance, while they last, you can take advantage of these deals:
- Groupon: $19 = skating & skate rental for two ($32 for four or $45 for six) plus your choice of 24 game tokens or two playground passes at Sparkles Family Fun Center in Smyrna & Lawrenceville
- Groupon: $15 = a roller-skating package for two ($29 for four), including skate rental and a small popcorn & soda per person, at All American Skating Center in Stone Mountain
- Groupon: $15 = two skate admissions with skate rental ($29 for four) at the Marietta Ice Center
And a reminder: If you sign up for email updates from the skating rinks, they’ll often use it to send out coupons year-round.
