[exp] [/exp]On Sunday, June 8, 2014, head to Atlanta Beltline Bicycle for Atlanta Cycling Festival’s Pecha Kucha: Vol. 22 1/2.
During Pecha Kucha, you’ll hear from 10 speakers. To keep things moving, each speaker will have a max of 20 slides, and they’ll have 20 seconds per slide to get their point across. Pecha Kucha: Vol. 22 1/2 will have a Cycling Through Life theme, and the tentative lineup of speakers includes Ryan Gravel, developer/creator of the idea for the BeltLine; Thomas Wheatley of Creative Loafing; Kwanza Hall, District 2 Councilmen Member; Rebecca Serna, executive director of Atlanta Bicycle Coalition; Zahra Ala, Red Bike & Green in Atlanta; Ken Rosskopf of Ken Bike Law; Heather Alhadeff of Center Forward; Kyle Torok cyclist and “coolest guy on a bike in ATL”; & Jeffrey Wisard, founder of the Atlanta Cycling Festival.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and it’s a BYOLC (bring your own lawn chair) event. There’s an optional $5 donation for admission, with proceeds supporting the inaugural Atlanta Cycling Festival.
