If you’ve never been, Saturday is an excellent day to explore Sweetwater Creek State Park.
On June 14, 2014, Get Outdoors Georgia Day will take place at Sweetwater Creek State Park. From 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., you can sample a mix of outdoor activities for free, including archery, kayaking, disc golf, golf chipping, fly tying, geocaching, & tree climbing, plus there’ll be camping demonstrations, wildlife programs, water and outdoor safety classes, & more.
All parking will be at Lithia Springs High School, located at 2520 East County Line Road in Lithia Springs, and there’ll be free shuttle service to Get Outdoors Georgia Day events.
