[exp] [/exp]On June 28, 2014, The 175th anniversary Children’s Festival & Concert will take place in Stone Mountain Village.
There’ll be quite a bit going on. Here’s the lineup:
- 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.: Children’s Festival on 2nd Street, featuring African drumming by the Conundrums, story-telling, calligraphy, balloon art, musical chairs, sack races, & more.
- 7:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m.: Art Stroll at participating galleries, including ART Station Galleries (at the main ART Station location at 5384 Manor Drive) and the two Arts Incubator Galleries on Main Street and Mountain Street. Passports are free of charge and may be picked up at ART Station or at the two Center Town Galleries at 951 Main Street.
- 7:00 p.m.: Bike Parade. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes & join in the parade leading to the Pavilion for the evening’s musical entertainment.
- 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.: Concert on the Lawn featuring the Georgia Brass Band & performances from Stone Mountain choirs
Stone Mountain Village is located at 922 Main Street, Stone Mountain.
