[exp] [/exp]I’m looking forward to tracking down one of these events around the ATL:
GloATL is putting on five free productions at four sites in the Atlanta area over a 15-day span. During Liquid Culture, “each site becomes a host soil, a station, forms with the common thread of igniting concrete realities full of communal and cultural exchange over a 15 day period. Liquid Culture envisages the 16th century coined definition of Utopia as a catalyst, as side by side, artists and public become inventors of fresh points of view within the urban landscape.”
Locations for four of the Liquid Culture performances are known, but you’ll need to check gloATL’s Twitter page for the last one.
Here’s the lineup:
- July 9, 7:30 p.m. – Freedom Park, at the Sol LeWitt 54 Columns installation at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Glen Iris Drive.
- July 14, 7:00 p.m. – Surprise location. Exact location will be announced on the day of the performance. Check @gloATL on Twitter for location.
- July 15, 6:00 p.m. – Storefronts of Little Five Points. gloATL will appear in the windows of select shops in the Little Five Points neighborhood at the intersection of Moreland Ave and Euclid Road.
- July 22-23, 7:30 p.m. – The intersection of Peachtree Street and 15th Street
