This weekend, you have a few opportunities to watch free gloATL performances of “float,” an Art on the Beltline Commission.
Per the summary: “Highlighting ‘inter-human’ relationships between natural systems and everyday urban life, float is a a new site work in the form of a whimsical, communal foot gathering doused with the 1956 child’s film ‘The Red Balloon,’ making pumpkin cider together, and the highly physical contemporary experience of gloATL. The work provides the public a choice of mediums, the levels of experience are meant to be subjective.”
Per Art on the Beltline, you’ve got three chances to catch a performance of “float” this weekend:
- November 19 at 2:00 p.m.: Lewis Gulch
- November 19 at 4:30 p.m.: Reynoldstown Stage
- November 20 at 2:00 p.m.: Lewis Gulch
