If you have little ones (as in, “not yet in preschool” little ones) & you’re looking for a fun & free event for the kids, check out the free playday at HobbyTown USA on Thursday, October 15. I used to meet up with some friends & chat while the kids played back before the girls had grueling preschool schedules, and we always had a blast. From 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., there’ll be crafts, story time, & plenty of time to play with the store’s toys—it was hard to tear mine away from the train table.

FYI—I saw the lead in an ad on p. 71 of Atlanta Parent magazine. It’s not on the main website though—YMMV (your mileage may vary) re: whether other locations in the metro area are participating.
