The city of Marietta is hosting an all-day “4th in the Park” celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
The event runs from 10 a.m. till 10 p.m., with fireworks after dark. The celebration is spread out on and around Glover Park and the rest of the Marietta Square.
The 4th of July events include a parade, free live concerts, an arts and crafts show, food, carnival games, and the fireworks finale. Details below, and you can visit the event website for updates.

The Parade
The Marietta Let Freedom Ring Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Roswell Street Baptist Church. It travels west on Roswell Street, north on East Park Square past Glover Park and the Square, down Cherokee Street, and ends at North Marietta Parkway.
The end of the parade marks the start of the festival. Food concessions, arts and crafts, and carnival games will provide plenty to do for the whole family.

The festival
From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., you can enjoy an arts & crafts sale, a Kids Zone, festival food, and live entertainment.
Arts & Crafts booths will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Food will be available from a variety of concessions beginning at 10 am. Marietta Square restaurants will also be open for business.

Fireworks display
The display will light up the sky to a background of patriotic music.
Fireworks begin around 9:30 p.m. and are shot from the parking lot of the Marietta First United Methodist Church.
