Georgia Public Broadcasting invites your family to their Be My Neighbor Day event, featuring the popular PBS character Daniel Tiger. It takes place on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

It takes place at the Home Depot Backyard.
This fun community event teaches children how to be helpers, through activities such as creating a family first aid kit, making crafts for senior citizens, creating cards for veterans, free puppet shows, crafts and more. Attendees of the Be My Neighbor Day event will have the opportunity to meet Daniel Tiger from the PBS KIDS animated TV series.

How Do I Get There?
For the event, please enter the space at Soccer Ball Plaza by Gate 1. Gate 1 is the entrance off of Northside Drive. There will be no access on Magnolia Drive.
Rideshare: Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Vine City MARTA Station and use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge to walk across Northside Drive to Gate 1.
MARTA: The preferred station for arrival and departure is the Vine City Station. This station will drop you off just across the street from Gate 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge at Northside Drive.
Where Do I Park?
Parking is available for purchase in advance in the Orange Deck and Red Deck. You can also pay for parking when you arrive at the event. We recommend using Waze to navigate to the parking decks and lots. We recommend using Waze to navigate to the parking deck.
Can I Bring a Wagon?
Strollers and wagons are permitted.
Tents and large umbrellas are NOT permitted.
Will Concessions Be Available?
There will be limited food and beverages for purchase at Be My Neighbor Day. Guests may bring their own food and drinks in small or medium sized coolers. Large coolers and glass containers are not permitted.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood builds on the landmark PBS series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. In each episode, a young Daniel Tiger is joined by his friends for a delightful musical adventure as they explore the vibrant Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
Using interactive and entertaining musical tactics, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood teaches preschoolers fun and practical strategies necessary for growing and learning. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood airs weekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on GPB Television.
