On Wednesday, September 18, 2019 you can join local fossil collector Michael Buchanan for a talk about the people and animals that lived in Georgia in the past. The event is FREE and open to the public.
The talk starts at 6:30 p.m. and will go till 8 p.m. It takes place at Alpharetta City Hall.
Mr. Buchanan will show the audience fossils and artifacts he has collected in the Southeast. You’ll get a firsthand look at a tooth from a megalodon and a piece of tusk from a woolly mammoth, as well as many relics from the Civil War era.
This is a family-friendly event.
Alpharetta City Hall is located at 2 Park Plaza in the downtown business district.
