Adding to the cheap movies mix: At Venture Cinema 12, all seats for all shows are $2 each. Though there was a $1 option at one point, it looks like that’s gone for now. Still it’s worth checking the site before you go to see if they’ve brought it back. And at $2/ticket, you’re still saving a small fortune on a trip to the movies.
FYI—This is the same theatre that had the free horror movie screenings in November. At the time, they were known as Best Value Cinemas. They’ve got a new website & a new name, so I suspect they have new management, too.

All of the info on Venture Cinema’s website is current–they’ve even listed a movie that’s coming soon. The website & name are new-to-me–both are different from when I wrote them up before. My guess is there is new new management/a new owner. ~Jenn
Are you sure this location is still open? They closed back in October and in December they were still closed. Did they open back up? The closed due to the mall management not fixing roofing issues. Their lease was up and they chose not to renew.
