Disney has launched a new website for families stuck at home. It is called Disney Magic Moments and it has a wide variety of new features. It is free to use.
Disney Magic Moments will serve as a home for content and resources while the theme parks are closed. It includes virtual rides, story time with actors, and even a new Frozen digital series.
You can view an interactive introduction to the new service online.
You can also expect content from Marvel Comics, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. Some examples include:
◊ National Geographic will provide science-based “infotainment” content that will help parents and kids with home-schooling efforts.
◊ At Home with Olaf is an original animated series featuring the popular character from Frozen.
◊ Storytime With… will feature stars like John Stamos and Jeff Goldblum reading books.
◊ Voices From Home features the JAMMitors, a funky group of janitors turned percussionists.
◊ A virtual ride-through of “It’s a Small World” brings the timeless attraction right to you.
◊ Instagram live workshops will take place Mondays at 12:30 p.m.
◊ A variety of movement and dance activities will help families keep moving — they include content from Michelle Obama’s healthy living campaign.
◊ Draw With Disney workshops teach kids how to draw their favorite characters from Frozen.
◊ Pixar in a Box allows kids to learn basic principles of animation online.
