Jesus Christ Superstar, the iconic musical, is coming to the fabulous Fox Theatre this April — and there are multiple ways to save on tickets, including a special $30 deal for students. All the details are below.
We originally created this page during the pandemic lockdown, when NBC was offering an encore broadcast and free streaming of its original production of Jesus Christ Superstar, starring John Legend. Currently, there is no way to watch or stream that version of Superstar, which is our personal favorite. Will NBC change its mind and offer an Easter weekend encore? We’ll let you know if that happens! Meanwhile, you can rent the 1973 version from Amazon Video for $3.99.

Jesus Christ Superstar at the Fox Theatre
There are still tickets available for all remaining performances.
The reimagined 50th Anniversary tour of Jesus Christ Superstar will play Atlanta’s Fox Theatre from Tuesday, April 19th to Sunday, April 24th. There are still seats available, including some “stranded” single seats with very good views of the stage, for those who don’t mind going to a show alone (or going with a friend that you don’t sit next to).
Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and ‘Superstar’.
Limited-view seats are just $40, plus an $11.75 ticket fee.
The most expensive center orchestra seats are $99, plus a $22 ticket fee.
And of course, there is a wide range of prices in between those reference points.

Friday — 8:00 p.m.

The Student Rush Ticket deal
College students can take advantage of a $30 Student Rush Ticket for the show. This is a flat price — there are no extra fees tacked on!
To participate, just bring your valid college ID with you the Fox Theatre box office two hours prior to showtime (see the show schedule above).
The Student Rush Ticket price will be valid for all performances, with a two-ticket limit per student ID. Student Rush Tickets are subject to availability and will be sold from the best available seats, which may include limited view locations.
We are working to find out if that $30 price is a flat fee, or if additional fees are added.
