Shop local for big savings from American Express.
Shop Small is an initiative from American Express encouraging customers to shop in local stores rather than the big-box retailers.
As an incentive, American Express cardholders can get up to $50 in statement credits, when they shop at a local shops through September 20th.
Here’s how it works:
♠ Sign-Up — Enroll an eligible American Express Card by August 23rd. Click here to enroll your card.
♠ Shop Small — Make a single purchase of $10 or more using the enrolled card directly at an eligible small business and get a $5 statement credit.
♠ Continue supporting small businesses by using the offer up to 10 times by Sept. 20, for a total of up to $50 in statement credits.
