Hulu is offering its biggest discount of the year this Thanksgiving weekend, for the Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2023 shopping event — and it’s even better than last year’s deal.
Hulu is a premium, subscription-based streaming service for movies and TV shows, plus original content.
New subscribers or eligible returning subscribers can subscribe to Hulu for just 99¢ a month for 12 months. Yes, that is 99 CENTS, for the ad-based service, which usually sells for $7.99 per month.
An “eligible returning subscriber” is defined as someone who has not had a Hulu subscription for the past month.
If you’re near the end of your existing Hulu subscription, you can always subscribe to this deal with a different email address and credit card.
After the 12-month promotional period is over, you’ll be billed at the regular price automatically. If you don’t want that to happen, make sure you set a reminder to cancel your service by next November.

If you’ve been thinking about cutting the cord on cable, or if you just want to add another streaming service at a dirt-cheap price, you can’t beat this Hulu Black Friday deal.
The deal goes live on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 3 a.m. Atlanta time — meaning you can subscribe right away and have plenty of new content to binge all through the holiday weekend.
It runs through Cyber Monday, November 27th. (Because we’re in the Eastern time zone, you’ll actually have till 2:59 a.m. on Tuesday morning to redeem the offer.)
After the 12-month promotional period, the subscription fee goes back to the regular price of $7.99 per month. So, you will SAVE $84 over the course of the year by signing up between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

I can’t figure out why Hulu won’t offer their commercial-free plan at a promotional price. If they actually want people to become regular customers beyond the promotion, they should let us experience their service, minus the commercials.
I chuckled when I saw they are calling this offer, their “limited commercials” plan. A couple years ago I purchased a similar plan, and found it to be more like an “unlimited commercials” plan, as there were so many of them, it really ruined my viewing experience. I begged them to let me pay the difference, and get the no-commercials plan, but they said I was stuck with it. All I can say is had they allowed me to upgrade during the promotional period, I would’ve signed up for the more premium service after it. Such is the flaw in their marketing strategy, by having to sit through so many commercials, I just said the hell with Hulu….

Thank you AOTC for posting this deal, but there is a catch!
We signed up hoping to watch some holiday classics over the weekend. Unfortunately, movies like Miracle on 34th Street, Love Actually, Patrick Stewart’s Scrooge, and It’s a Wonderful Life are only available with the $54.99 ($64.99 effective 12/18/20) plan. 🙁
