Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru is happening this month at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds — and we have some discounts for you!
The family-friendly drive-thru event opens on Friday, August 13th and runs through Sunday, August 22nd.
The adventure is a 60-minute driving tour that features 75 life-sized, animatronic dinosaurs that come to life with movements and sounds — including a 50-foot long megalodon!
You stay in your car the entire time. The adventure is narrated on an audio track that fills you in on fun facts about every dinosaur you see, from T-Rex to raptors.
You’ll also get a FREE souvenir photo that you can download later.
The event is priced per car, not per person. Keep scrolling for the whole scoop on hours, ticket prices, and — of course — discounts.

Ticket prices
A regular ticket is $49 per vehicle, and you can have up to 8 people inside. You can expect to add another $8 in fees and sales tax at checkout. In our test run, the final checkout price was $57.77 per vehicle.
If you buy online in advance, you’ll choose a ticket for a specific date and time slot. The slots start on the hour and you can arrive any time during that hour. For example, if you buy a ticket for 3 p.m., you may arrive any time between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
NO tickets are sold at the gate — you must purchase in advance online
NOTE that tickets are not refundable, unless the event is canceled — but you may be able to change out your date if there is availability.
There are different rates and restrictions for oversize vehicles like church buses.
Buy tickets online
There is a 10% discount for police, military, healthcare workers, and first responders. You’ll check the box on the ticket page, and then you’ll be asked to present a valid ID on arrival.
The Groupon deal
The discounted price through Groupon is $44.50, which is about 23% off the regular price including fees/taxes.
Remember, Groupon does NOT add fees or tax to its stated price. What you see is what you pay.
You’ll still have to choose a date and time, and your ticket is only good for that day.
As always, remember to read the fine print before you purchase any Groupon deal.
NOTE: You can get up to 8% cashback from Rakuten (formerly Ebates) if you sign up and start a shopping session before you purchase your Groupon. You get the money at the end of each quarter and can have it sent to you via check or PayPal.

The event is generally rain or shine, but may be canceled during severe weather.
Everyone in your vehicle must be safely seated — you can’t have anyone in the bed of a pickup truck.
No motorcycles, golf carts, scooters, etc.
Masks are required when you use the restrooms.
