The fourth annual Pan African Festival takes place on the Decatur Square on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Hours are 2 to 10 p.m.
The festival celebrates innovation, culture, and economic empowerment.
It is FREE to attend, family-friendly, and open to everyone.
Live entertainment includes African music, singing, dance, and drumming. You can also enjoy talks by Black leaders, hip hop music, and spoken word performances.
Over 20 vendor booths will be hosted by Black entrepreneurs, selling innovative products and services.

While the festival is a one-day event, a self-guided walking tour is available year round. It allows you to visit 12 points of interest around Decatur that highlight the contributions of Black residents. You can use a Google map to navigate between stops.
