Concert on the Green: A Juneteenth Celebration will take place at Logan Farm Park, in Acworth, on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event is FREE to attend.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. so you can find a spot on the lawn, set up your blanket or chairs, and enjoy a picnic meal.
Live music is featured from 7 to 9 p.m., featuring Bogey and the Viceroy.
Food and snacks are available to buy.
This concert is a celebration in observance of June 19, 1865, when the last African American slaves held in Confederate states were finally freed by the Union army.
Everyone is invited to join this celebration of freedom and respect for all cultures.

Walking tours of Historic Acworth landmarks will be provided by Acworth Cultural Arts.
The tours start at 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., leading up to the concert.
