On Saturday, June 23, 2012, Cobb County Animal Control Shelter will host its first annual Art, Barks & Purrs festival. From 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., you can stop by the front lawn of the CCAC to check out animal-related art, including jewelry, bird feeders and houses, housewares, animal clothing, collars and leashes, pottery, and more. Plus, there’ll be an opportunity for pet portraits.
While you’re there, check out the shelter & visit the animals. If you decide to bring one home with you, CCAC is open until 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays for adoptions.
CCAC is located at 1060 Al Bishop Dr, Marietta.
