[exp] [/exp]The “ride” part of this event will cost you a minimum of $40, but the “rock” part is free (and you don’t need to ride to rock).
On Saturday, June 23, the Rock-N-Ride 2012 will take place in Atlanta. Technically, the “ride” part starts in Roswell & works its way to the free part: From 2:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m., head to the Hard Rock Café in Atlanta for a post-ride Party on Peachtree. There’ll be two stages of music (main stage on Peachtree & one inside at Hard Rock Café’s Velvet Underground), an artists market, + plenty of things to do.
Drivin’ N’ Cryin’, Miss Willie Brown, The Whiskey Gentry, Kristy Lee and Paris Luna will perform on the main stage, and the Velvet Underground stage features Ty Bates, Brian Collins, The Deadfields and Julie Gribble.
And the motorcycle ride is for a good cause, too: the money raised will support traumatic injuries treated at Grady Health System’s Level 1 Trauma Center.
Velvet Underground is located inside the Hard Rock Café; the MusicFest main stage is located on Peachtree Street between Harris Street and Ellis Street.
