Dig Your Own Tulip Day
Dig your own tulip bulbs this Saturday, June 10th, 2023, at Warbington Farms. The tulip flowers are gone and the leaves are withering — so it’s time to remove the bulbs so the field can be used for pumpkins.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For $20, you can dig bulbs to fill a two-gallon container. That’s about 30 bulbs.
It’s suggested that you bring your own gardening gloves. A bucket and hand shovel will be provided (and are yours to keep).
For an extra $8, you can get a second bucket to fill (no shovel included).
The bulbs you dig are in dormancy.
When you get them home, you’ll wash off the dirt, cut away the roots and dried stems, and let them dry out. Then store in a cool, dry place until planting time in October.

The Warbington Farms Fun Park will also be open on June 10th. Admission is $12 per person.
