Clayton County will host a fun and safe, family-friendly Halloween event on October 31, 2024. The FREE trunk-or-treat event features a Carn-Evil theme, and promises plenty of free candy as kids make the rounds of the spooky decorated trunks.
The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Halloween evening.
Come in costume and bring your goodie bag!
It takes place at the Harold R. Banke Justice Center, located at:
9151 Tara Blvd
Jonesboro, GA 30236
Trunk or Treat is a different spin on trick-or-treating. It's meant to be safe and fun, it's suitable for suburban areas that aren't so walkable, and it eliminates concerns about traffic or crossing streets in the dark.
The idea is that local businesses, organizations, and community members hand out treats from a parked car with a decorated trunk. Kids can "trunk or treat" from car to car to get goodies.
