[exp] [/exp]Little ones, rejoice: Decatur’s Touch-A-Truck event will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
Unfortunately, my daughters have outgrown this event, but for those of you that have little ones that still love ’em, here’s what you need to know:
Decatur’s Touch-A-Truck event will take place at the East Lake MARTA Station’s North Lot from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Important note: this is a new location. During the free event, kids can explore all manner of vehicles on wheels–fire trucks, dump trucks, tractors, police cars, motorcycles, bicycles, & more.
If you ride your bike to the event, you can register it with City of Decatur’s police officers, giving them a record of your bike’s serial number should it be lost or stolen.
And when you go, remember to bring a canned good or other non-perishable food item to donate to the “Feed the Hungry” food drive.
The East Lake MARTA Station’s North Lot is located at 2260 College Avenue, Decatur.
