On Saturday, August 10, Centennial Olympic Park will host Praise in the Park 2013.
During the free festival, you’ll hear performances by Tasha Cobbs, Veronica Petrucci, Tye Tribbett, Lexi, James Fortune, Issac Carree, Bishop Morton, Dottie Peoples, Smokie Norful, Canton Jones, & Uncle Reece. The music starts at noon & ends around 8:00 p.m.
Though there’ll be food & drinks for sale on site, you can bring your own, so pack a picnic (no glass, alcohol, or grilling) & save a bit. And you can bring your own lawn chairs, too, but leave the tents & umbrellas at home.
As it’s August, it’s practically guaranteed that it’ll be hot out. Remember to bring what you need to let the kids splash around in the Fountain of Rings while you’re there.
