Atlanta Ballet’s The Nutcracker is back for 2021.
The beloved annual performance concluded its run at the Fox Theatre in 2019 and is permanently moving to Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. This is a smaller, more intimate venue with better views. It’s also better suited to ultra-high tech performances.
The Atlanta Ballet’s version of The Nutcracker has typically been the most elaborate production in town, and they change it up from year to year.
This year, The Nutcracker will run from Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 through Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. There are a total of 30 performances, including both evening shows and afternoon matinees.

This show is a bit less expensive and there are good discounts available.
About the 2021 season
Standard ticket prices start at $30 (for weeknights in the rear of the theater) and go up to $154 for the most desirable seats. Taxes and fees are added, of course.
There is also a student discount ticket price that you’ll see when you buy tickets online via the seating chart. It offers anywhere from $10 to $26 off a full price ticket, depending on the date and time.

Safety policy
A health check is required to attend a performance at the Cobb Energy Center.
Anyone age 12 and older must show proof of vaccination OR a negative test result that was obtained from a health professional within 48 hours of the performance. Kids between the ages of 4 and 11 must have a negative test result obtained within 48 hours of the performance.
No children under the age of 3 are admitted.
Masks required regardless of vaccination status.

Thanks to a special deal from Goldstar, you can get 50% OFF advance sale tickets for select dates. This brings the price of a $154 ticket in the Center Front Orchestra section to just $77 (plus fees of about $15 at this price point).
Discounted Goldstar tickets are currently available at two price points: $42.50 and $77 — these are choice seats.
This means you can get cheaper tickets at regular price if you don’t mind sitting far off to the side or in the back of the theater.
