The City of Alpharetta kicks off its Season of Celebration event series, taking place in November and December.

The first event is the city’s official tree lighting.
Activities will vary each week.

The center of activities is the Town Green (by Alpharetta City Hall), located at:

2023 Season of Celebration Schedule

Free parking is available throughout the downtown area — including the City Hall Parking Deck (located at 2 Park Plaza), the new parking deck at 92 Milton Avenue,  and the 45 Roswell Street parking lot.

Tree Lighting Celebration

Saturday, November 18th
5 to 9 p.m.
The 50-foot tree lights up at dusk on the Alpharetta Town Green.
Enjoy live music, snow flurries, vignettes from The Nutcracker, and plenty of cheer. Santa Claus himself will be there, and you may be able to convince him to pose for photos!

Holiday Hop & Shop

Saturday, December 2nd
Free pics with Santa!
9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Ride the FREE hop-on, hop-off shuttle as you browse for handcrafted items. You’ll be able to visit four different holiday markets, offering a variety of crafts, food, decor, jewelry, baked goods, art, and more — plus a FREE gift wrap station and Santa’s Headquarters.

Bring the kids for FREE photos with Santa, holiday character meet-and-greets, and activities.

The shuttle runs between:
• Alpharetta Christmas Market (at Innovation Academy)
• Heartfelt Holiday Gift Market (at Alpharetta Community Center)
• Santa’s Headquarters with free photo opps (10 a.m. to noon at the Convention & Visitors Bureau)
• Makers Market Artisan Faire (at Avalon)
• Gift Wrap Shack (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hamilton Hotel)
• Santa Paws Market (noon to 4 at Hamilton Hotel)

Flicks & Flurries on the Town Green

Saturday, December 16th
6 to 8 p.m.
Catch one of the rotating holiday shorts on the big screen. Take holiday photos at the inflatable snow globe. Enjoy yummy cocoa. Snow flurries will appear every 15 minutes between movies — the perfect opportunity to capture those precious moments.
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.
