Kick off the holiday season with a 50 ft. tree lighting in Downtown Alpharetta on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The event goes from 5 to 9 p.m. in front of Alpharetta City Hall.
You’re invited to bring lawn chairs and lap blankets, so you can settle in for a holiday concert by the Alpharetta City Band’s Jazz Ensemble.
A snow machine will set the stage with enchanting snow flurries, .and you can enjoy other magical performances on the main stage in front of Alpharetta City Hall.
Have your cameras out for the perfect photo with strolling characters and performers in the crowd. Santa Claus himself will also make a special appearance to hear holiday wishes and spread cheer.
The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Families are invited to roast marshmallows at the fire pits on Market Street and step into the igloo for Sugarplum Storytime. Hot beverages from The Ginger Room, Boarding Pass Coffee, and Kilwin’s will be available for purchase.
