Amplify Decatur is a 3-day music festival, taking place around downtown Decatur each year in April. It generally includes a handful of free or cheap performances around downtown Decatur, as well as paid admission for other concerts.
The Amplify Decatur events take place from Friday, April 25th through Sunday, April 27th, 2025.
Good news!
Most of the concerts are FREE in 2025.
There are also two ticketed events, with early-bird discounted tickets available now.

The Core performs at 7:30 p.m. at Avon Theater (formerly Avondale Town Cinema).
Opening act is Buffalo.
The Core’s repertoire includes songs from HORDE acts such as Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Col. Bruce Hampton and The Aquarium Rescue Unit, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, The Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers Band, Spin Doctors, Blues Traveler, Gov’t Mule, Lenny Kravitz, The Samples, Freddy Jones Band, Allgood, and many more.
The venue is located at 106 N. Avondale Road, Avondale Estates.

Eddie’s Attic will host a show called The Bad Bitches of Country, which pays tribute to the greatest female country artists with performances by local and regional female acts.
The evening will include songs made famous by Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Beyonce, and more.
The show features performances by Kate Coleman of Run Katie Run, Amber Humphries of Story Ghost, Robin Shakedown, Kristin Markiton, and Tracy Dunlap from The Dirty Truth band.
Acclaimed podcaster and Atlanta radio personality Davi Crimmins hosts.
Showtime is at 8 p.m.

About the festival
Amplify My Community was founded in 2010 and is based in Decatur, Georgia. Its mission is to leverage the universal love of music to fight poverty at the local level.
To date, Amplify has produced more than 120 concerts, and raised and donated more than $575,000 in unrestricted gifts to locally oriented anti-homelessness and poverty-focused organizations — including more tthan $360,000 in Decatur.
Amplify has held concert series in Atlanta, Athens, Decatur, Suwanee, and Duluth, Georgia; Asheville and Charlotte, North Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; and Charlottesville, Virginia.
