[exp] [/exp]On Saturday & Sunday, May 5 & 6, 2018, the Atlanta BBQ Festival will take place at Atlantic Station.
For two days, you can listen to live music, indulge with eats served up by ATL’s BBQ pros, imbibe with bourbon or beer samples, check out BBQ cooking demos, & more.
From 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, you can head out for the Hogs & Hops session. The all-inclusive ticket features 50+ beer and wine options and BBQ samples from some of Atlanta’s best BBQ restaurants. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 after April 26, or $45 at the gate. FYI–This is a 21+ session; no babies or pets permitted. Bonus: $35 buys one general admission Hogs & Hops session at the Atlanta BBQ Festival, thanks to a deal on Groupon (same price as advance tickets, minus the fees).
From 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Saturday & noon-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, the Atlanta BBQ Festival becomes an all-ages event. There’ll be live music, BBQ & drinks available for purchase, & more. One-day general admission tickets are $8 in advance, $12 after April 26, and $15 at the gate. Kids age 12 & under admitted free. Bonus: While they last, $9 buys one general admission ticket to the Atlanta BBQ Festival, thanks to a deal on Groupon (works out to a bit less than the advance price after fees).
Or on Sunday, May 6, you can opt for Bourbon Experience. The ticket includes festival admission at noon & sampling with 40+ bourbon options from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 after April 26, or $45 at the gate.
Groupon also has a weekend package for one to the Atlanta BBQ Festival available for $55. I’m working on tracking down what that entails, as it’s not specified on the site….
The Atlanta BBQ Festival will take place at Atlantic Station’s special event site, located behind the Regal Cinema on 20th Street.
