If you’re hosting friends or family who have been temporarily displaced because of mandatory hurricane evacuations, you can let them know the Atlanta Braves want to make their visit just a little more fun.
Team officials announced that they will provide complimentary tickets to residents of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas who received mandatory evacuation orders and are riding out the storm here in Atlanta. If you know someone who might be able to use the free admission deal, please share this post.
Two games this week are open to evacuees of Hurricane Dorian:
- Tuesday, September 3rd
Braves vs. Toronto Blue Jays
first pitch at 7:20 p.m.
- Thursday, September 5th
Braves vs. Washington Nationals
first pitch at 7:20 p.m.
Tickets can be claimed at SunTrust Park ticket booths, while supplies last, starting at noon on both days.
Anyone with a valid ID showing one of the specific coastal zip codes under mandatory evacuation is eligible for the free tickets. One ticket per person with ID, and everyone in the group, including children, must be at the ticket window to claim their ticket. (Children 2 and under do not need a ticket.)
