[exp] [/exp]The Atlanta Fringe Festival returns to the ATL from June 8-12, 2016. With multiple performances of 24 indie shows at six venues, free shows, two parties, & more, there’ll be plenty to see & do.
Single tickets are $10 each + a one-time Fringe button purchase for $3, but you’ll save if you buy in bulk. A 6-show pass is $40, a 10-show pass is $60, and an all-access pass is $90. All multi-show pass purchases include one Fringe button, and passes are transferrable to anyone with a Fringe button. If you plan to share a multi-show pass with a friend, buy an extra Fringe button for $3.
For a sneak peek before you buy, stop by 7 Stages for a free Official Opening Preview Party. At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, you can watch a 3-minute preview of every show in the festival.
New for 2016, there’ll be free family-friendly shows in Findley Plaza on June 10-12. Part of the Little Five Arts Alive project, the lineup includes dance, clowning, improv, performance art, and even some additional previews from the regular Fringe lineup.
The free closing party will take place at the MOTHER Restaurant & Bar at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Also new for 2016, there’ll be free shuttle bus service from June 9-12; the Horizons School bus will travel between the Montessori International Academy (1240 Euclid Ave. NE) to Horizons School (1900 Dekalb Ave). Even better: During your trip, you’ll be treated to performances by some of Atlanta’s favorite comedians, storytellers, and musicians. The art never stops, even in transit.
Bonus: After the festival, you can use your 2016 Fringe Festival button to save at participating metro-Atlanta venues, including the Actor’s Express, Norcostco Atlanta Costume, Serenbe Playhouse, Museum of Design Atlanta, True Colors Theatre Company, & more.
