Atlanta Pride returns in 2024 as the largest FREE pride festival in the United States.
The Pride Festival takes place at Piedmont Park in midtown Atlanta over Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th. It is FREE to attend and everyone is welcome.
Atlanta Pride used to be held during National Pride Month in June. In 2008, our local organizers moved it to October when the weather is milder, which also aligns it with National Coming Out Day.
The festival features an artist marketplace with over 200 booths, plus food trucks and live entertainment.
The Atlanta Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, October 13th, when it will step off at noon. This is the biggest event of the Festival.
The parade steps off from the Atlanta Civic Center MARTA Station at noon on Sunday and continues north on Peachtree Street, then turns right onto 10th Street and ends a block from the Charles Allen Gate to Piedmont Park.
The best viewing spots will be along Peachtree Street, which is closed to traffic for the parade.
The 2024 Pride Marketplace will feature 250 vendors.

PARADE AND MARCHES
The Atlanta Pride Parade is the biggest event of the Festival, drawing over 100,000 people along the streets of Downtown and Midtown Atlanta. Traditionally stepping off from the Atlanta Civic Center MARTA Station at noon on Sunday (10/13) and continuing north on Peachtree Street, the parade will turn right onto 10th Street and end a block from the Charles Allen Gate to Piedmont Park.
Before that, a series of marches will take place on October 12:
● Trans March (step off at 1:45 PM)
● Bi+ Pan March (step off at 3:30 PM)
● Dyke March (step off at 5:00 PM)
MARKETPLACE
The annual Atlanta Pride Marketplace will also return, showcasing many booths with representation ranging from community organizations to small businesses and corporate sponsors. The Marketplace creates countless opportunities for connection,
education, and advocacy. Please note that Atlanta Pride anticipates less traffic in the Marketplace during the Parade on Sunday (10/13), and some vendors may be closed during that time (from noon until about 2:30 PM).
