How to join in the fun at the Science Festival
Our best advice?
Browse the entire schedule of events online ASAP and figure out which ones you want to participate in. Some require pre-registration, which is open now, so pay attention to the details as you browse.
This year’s Science Festival website is amazing.
To browse events, you can just scroll through a chronological list.
OR, you can sort events by:
• Day and date
• 18 different topics (everything from Robotics to Astronomy to Food & Drink and Irreverent Fun)
• Type of venue (virtual, indoor, outdoor, etc.)
• Price (many are free!)
• Audience (adults, families, or school age group)

Highlighted event: Science Escape Room Trail at Mason Mill Park
We’re highlighting this event because it runs every day of the Science Festival from dawn to dark.
This is a self-guided activity, and you don’t need a ticket to participate — just stop by any day the Festival is running.
Note: On March 8th, the activity opens at 10:15 a.m. This is the first day of the festival.
On other dates, it runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
What to expect:
You’ll be solving nature challenges along the Mason Mill boardwalk in this escape room-style nature adventure.
Take a beautiful 1.5 mile walk on the wheelchair and stroller accessible boardwalk.
Along the way, you’ll be faced with 10 challenges, riddles, and tasks that, once completed, will allow you to solve the puzzle, “escape” the boardwalk, and win a prize.
