Mommy & Me Storytime is a new outdoor event at The Avenue East Cobb. It is FREE to attend — just bring your blanket or folding chair and meet on the Origins Patio.
Storytelling begins at 10 a.m. on select Wednesdays, and is followed by a kid’s craft activity.
Stay for lunch or grab a treat at one of these Avenue East Cobb eateries:
- Kale Me Crazy (you can sample juice at every Storytime)
- Tin Lizzy’s (kids eat FREE on Wednesdays)
- Smallcakes (4 pack of cupcakes for $12)
- Panera (FREE coffee with the purchase of a pastry, breakfast, or lunch item when you attend Storytime)
There are three Storytime events in May, and all are open for registration now.
There is also a Music & Movement session on the 4th Wednesday of May.
Event dates:
* Wednesday, May 5th (storytime)
* Wednesday, May 12th (storytime)
* Wednesday, May 19th (storytime)
* Wednesday, May 26th (music & movement)
While the events are free to attend, capacity is limited, so registration is required.
NOTE that you only need to reserve one ticket for each child over 18 months old. You do NOT need to reserve a ticket for adults or for children under 18 months of age.
Register for Storytime via Eventbrite (no charge or fees)
Register for Music & Movement via Eventbrite
If you make a reservation and your plans change, please notify pchanin@poagllc.com so the spot can be open for another child.
If it rains: The Storytime and Music/Movement events will move indoors to the vacant suite between Lenscrafters and Palm Beach Tan, to the far right of the shopping center.
Music & Movement details are mostly the same as for Storytime — class begins at 10 a.m. on the Origins Patio and you can grab a snack or lunch at the restaurants listed above. Ticket info is also the same (you only need tickets for kids between 2 and 8 years of age), but the reservation link is different.
