The Atlanta Braves are taking the 2021 World Series Trophy on tour! There will be 151 trophy tour stops, to commemorate 151 years of Braves Baseball.
The tour will include stops in metro Atlanta, other locales in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and the Carolinas.
At each stop, Braves fans will have an opportunity to take photos with the trophy, as well enjoy special programming and musical entertainment.
The Braves Trophy Tour begins on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Colony Square, in midtown Atlanta. The trophy will be on site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in The Plaza. You can attend for FREE, and you don’t need an advance registration or a ticket.
The Colony Square stop will include entertainment with the Atlanta Braves Heavy Hitters and BLOOPER, according to a press release.
The whole tour, which will continue through spring and summer, has not yet been planned out entirely. You can check the MLB website to find additional tour dates, as they are planned and announced.
These are some of the tour stops that are already confirmed:
♦ Feb. 20th — Gresham Park Baseball Complex, for the Morehouse College baseball season opener game
♦ March 12th — Cherokee, NC, for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians high school baseball opener
♦ March 17th — Savannah, for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
♦ March 26th — Macon, at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame
♦ April 12th — Opening night Stripers game at Coolray Field
♦ April 15th — Cairo, GA, for Jackie Robinson Day
♦ July 9th — Alpharetta, for the Braves Country Champion Battles Tournament
Other stops will include Mobile, AL, which is the birthplace of Hank Aaron, and many more.
