The famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses are in town for the Super Bowl! If seeing them in person is on your bucket list, now’s the time to make that happen.
The horses are making a series of stops around the Atlanta metro area, and the public is invited to hang out with the team and take a few selfies.
Some of these meet-and-greets are one-horse appearances. Others are a “hitch appearance,” meaning you can watch a team of Budweiser Clydesdale horses pull that iconic red wagon around a parking lot.
FUN FACT: The iconic Budweiser Clydesdale team has been around since 1933.
The original six-horse hitch of champion Clydesdales was a surprise gift from brothers August and Adolphus Busch to their father, in celebration of Prohibition repeal.
It’s said that the elder August Busch was moved to tears by the gesture, giving birth to the phrase “crying in your beer.”
