This weekend, the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game is happening in downtown Atlanta. On Saturday, September 1, 2018, The Washington Huskies will take on the Auburn Tigers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Whether or not you opt to go to the game, there’ll be plenty of things for football fans to do in Atlanta:
From 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on September 1, you can cheer on your team at the FanZone at the Georgia World Congress Center’s Building A. There’ll be interactive football games, pep rallies, free samples, & more.
There’ll be an Auburn photo opp from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., a Washington pep rally at 11:45 a.m., and an Auburn pep rally at 12:15 p.m.
Bonus: From noon-2:00 p.m., you can check in on other college games in the Game Day lounge, including Ole Miss vs. Texas Tech, Oregon State vs. Ohio State, FAU vs. Oklahoma, and Texas vs. Maryland.
Your game ticket gets you into the FanZone, but tickets will be on sale at the door for $15 each if you want to go to the FanZone & aren’t heading out for the game.
Plus from 10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on September 1, the Georgia World Congress Center’s International Plaza will become Tailgate Town. There’ll be live entertainment, games, interactive displays, & more.
Admission to Tailgate Town is free.
