Let’s face it, preparing a holiday meal is a lot of work. Some years, it just makes sense to skip straight to the part where you’re enjoying a yummy dinner, a glass of wine, and a relaxing day.

The good news: You can get a delicious holiday meal all wrapped up.

Here is a list of places where you can order a holiday meal to go, for whenever you plan to celebrate with family or friends. Many of these venues offer pickup dates from mid-December thru the 28th, to accommodate different schedules.

Offering holiday takeout and delivery options — all a la carte.

Order by Dec. 1tth at 4 p.m. — $60 minimum order.
Pick-up is Dec. 23rd between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. from all locations (Buckhead, Westside, Roswell, Decatur).

Choose your entree, soup, salad, sides, and desserts.
You can also order breakfast items to have on hand for Christmas morning.

Alon’s Bakery & Market

Order at least 24 hours ahead.

You can opt for Alon’s Classic Turkey Feast with portions for either four people ($225) or eight people ($360). This meal includes a roasted turkey breast, plus a set of sides that you choose from a list.

Beef Tenderloin for 6 to 8 people is $150.

Don’t need the whole bird?
An all-natural turkey breast is $57 and serves 4 to 6.

The Fresh Market

Order by Dec. 22, 2024 at 2 p.m.
Pickup from Dec. 21 to 24, 2024

Options include turkey, ham, turducken, beef tenderloin, rib roast, pork roast, leg of lamb, rack of lamb, lobster, oysters, plenty of sides and casseroles, and — of course — a selection of fresh pies and cakes.

The Essential Holiday Meal package is just $75 and serves 3 to 5 people.
This is truly a budget offering for small, informal gatherings. It includes reheatable, classic holiday dishes:  a fully cooked turkey breast, whipped potatoes, herb stuffing, green beans, gravy, and cranberry relish.

There is an also an Essential Ham Meal for $75 that serves 3 to 5 people.
Just want the ham? A spiral-sliced honey ham (bone-in) is $3.49 per lb.

Are you a fan of Turducken? It’s $7.99 per lb (boneless).

The Traditional Holiday Meal package is $100 and serves 8 to 10 people.
It includes a fully cooked turkey, whipped potatoes, stuffing, 12 dinner rolls, green beans, gravy, and cranberry relish.

The Deluxe Ultimate Holiday Meal package is $180 and serves 12 to 14 people.
It’s a feast! This package includes a 10-12 lb cooked turkey, a 3-lb boneless honey ham, whipped potatoes, herb stuffing, gravy, green beans, 24 dinner rolls, and cranberry relish.

**Note that prices may vary based on your pickup location.
You don’t have to buy a meal package, however. You don’t even have to have turkey! Check out all the offerings and put together your own meal.

There are 8 locations of The Fresh Market in the metro area — including Suwanee, Peachtree City, and everything in between.  You order online and then choose a pickup location.

Mary Mac’s Tea Room

There are a variety of options available for pickup now through Thursday, Dec. 23, 2022.
Order at least 24 hours in advance — longer if you have a preferred pickup time slot.

The prices are largely the same as last year, but that might mean the quantities are smaller.

A Holiday Dinner for 4 people is $90.
The same dinner for 10 people is $205.
Both meals include:

• Green Beans

• Cornbread Dressing & Gravy
• Cranberry Sauce
• Sweet Potato Souffle

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Pickup on either Dec. 23 or 24, 2024.

The holiday feast is available at both the Peachtree Corners and Alpharetta locations.
The Firebirds Holiday Prime Rib Feast serves up to six people —  $200.

Note that the prime rib is picked up uncooked. It comes with easy instructions — allow 3 hours preparation time.

The prime rib feast includes:

Order 72 hours in advance, before your preferred pickup time.

Matthew’s Cafeteria

The holiday menu is available for order, with pickup times up through December 24th.
You can pick up hot or cold — you’ll specify that on the checkout form.

These are options for a good-sized gathering.
A pan of turkey and dressing for 8 is $57.
Sides are $36 for a pan that serves 12, including mashed potatoes, various vegetables and casseroles, mac and cheese, more.
A whole pie (8 types) are $28 and a pan of cobber that serves 12 is $35.

Farmers & Fishermen

This is a terrific option for home delivery of affordable meat and seafood, PLUS prepared side dishes and desserts. We can’t say enough about this local business!

Oak Grove Market

This popular neighborhood market on Oak Grove Rd in Decatur offers prepared holiday meals for pickup from December 22nd to 24th, 2024.

Offerings include sliced spiral ham, roasted salmon platter, cooked whole turkey, sliced beef tenderloin platter, and more.

They also offer a package of 5 side dishes for $99 (serves 6 to 8), and an assortment of desserts.
