Stone Mountain Park is bringing back the classic version of the Lasershow that you remember from the ’80s and ’90s!
It will run for four nights only, over Labor Day weekend, plus one more Saturday night.
The dates are listed below.
Best of all — the Classic Lasershow is FREE for those nights!
You may know that when the new Light & Drone Show debuted a few years ago, it came with an additional fee to get access to the Memorial Lawn for viewing.
That fee will be waived for the special viewings of the Classic Lasershow.
But remember, if you don’t have a Stone Mountain parking pass, you’ll pay $20 to park there.
The price is per vehicle, not per person.
PLUS, there is currently a Groupon deal for Stone Mountain Park that allows you to get an Attractions Pass for HALF OFF.
That’s just $19.99, with no added fees, and the Pass allows you to visit all the special attractions at Stone Mountain.

The Lasershow begins around 9:30 p.m. on these select evenings.
These are the dates:
- Saturday, August 31st
- Sunday, September 1st
- Monday, September 2nd
- Saturday, September 7th
About the Classic Lasershow:
Debuting in 1983 on the 825-foot-tall granite outcropping, the Classic Lasershow has been a beloved tradition for decades. The show took a leap forward in 2011 with Mountainvision. The digital projection creates 3-D-like effects without glasses, transforming Stone Mountain into dramatic visuals like a spewing volcano or crumbling rock. The projection, five times the size of an IMAX screen and taller than the Statue of Liberty, offers an unparalleled viewing experience.
