The 2024 Cobb Gem and Mineral Show takes place from Friday, November 22nd thru Sunday, November 24th at the Cobb County Civic Center. It is FREE to attend.
You’ll find rocks, gemstones, minerals, and fossils from all over the world on display.
Over 30 professional dealers will be selling collectible items plus beads and jewelry.
You can attend demonstrations of how gems are polished and faceted, and free mineral identification workshops.
A popular event is Geode Cracking.
Here, kids and adults can select a geode from a bin to have a dealer crack in half to reveal the wonders inside.
Kids can get an inexpensive grab bag filled with rocks and minerals from around the world.
Once per hour, a drawing for door prizes takes place.
