[exp] [/exp]Whether you’re just visiting for Monday’s college football playoff game or you’re a local fan, there’s plenty to do during National Championship Weekend in the ATL.
From 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Sunday & Monday, January 7 & 8 and through 6:00 p.m. today, January 6, 2018, you can head down to the Georgia World Congress Center’s Building A to experience Playoff Fan Central. The event features games, youth sports clinics, pep rallies, exhibits celebrating college football and its history, autograph signings, & more. Tickets are $8 in advance & $10 at the door; kids age 12 & under admitted free with a ticketed adult.
Though I’m a live music fanatic, I may have to skip out on this next bit, as I do not have anything close to appropriate winter wear to attend an outdoor concert when it’s this cold outside: On January 6, 7, & 8, 2018, AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! is happening at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. The free concert series kicks off with Jason Derulo, Charlie Puth, & Lizzo on January 6. On January 7, you can head back to see The Chainsmokers, Bebe Rexha, and Spencer Ludwig. Darius Rucker & Brett Young will close out the weekend’s festivities on January 8. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday and noon on Monday.
Plus you can take your tailgating game to the next level at the Championship Tailgating Plaza in International Plaza. While you’re there, you can zip line, participate in free-fall stunt jumps, & more.
The Georgia World Congress Center is located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta.
