I’ve never been to a pow wow, but this sounds interesting:
On May 12 & 13, 2018, head to Canton for the 29th annual Cherokee County Mother’s Day Pow Wow & Indian Festival. There’ll be a Mother’s Day Honor dance, Native American cuisine, Native arts & crafts, Creek & Plains Cree encampments, drummers, Hoop and Aztec dancers, Native film & TV stars, & more.
Admission to the festival is regularly $15 for adults, $5 for youth (age 6-12), & free for kids age 5 & under. Weekend passes are $20 at the gate.
The Cherokee County Mother’s Day Pow Wow & Indian Festival will take place at Boling Park, 1098 Marietta Hwy, Canton.
