[exp] [/exp]The American Craft Council Show will return to Cobb Galleria Centre from March 13-15, 2015. There’ll be handmade works by 225+ jury-selected artists, live craft demonstrations, workshops for kids, and more.
Though I tend to browse for new-to-me works on art walks & at festivals, the American Craft Council’s show is a good opportunity to check out artists that aren’t necessarily based in the southeast. You can start your charm bracelet while shopping the American Craft Charm Collection, see craft in context at the home décor exhibition, watch artist demos, & more.
Want to go? The downside is it isn’t free–Admission is $13 for one-day pass or $29 for a three-day pass (includes admission plus membership to the American Craft Council and a one-year subscription to American Craft). FYI–You’ll save $1 on a one-day pass if you buy online in advance. Admission is free for American Craft Council Members & children age 12 & under.
But if you plan it right, you can go on the cheap:
- You can print & use a WSB Family 2 Family coupon at the door or use coupon code “WSB100” when you order tickets online to save $5 on daily admission.
- On Friday, March 13, you’ll pay $5 for admission if you shop after 5:00 p.m.
Cobb Galleria Centre is located at Two Galleria Parkway, Atlanta. Parking is free.
