Serenbe Playhouse is running a production of the classic musical Shenandoah. The show runs through April 14th. It stars American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, as well as X Factor finalist Rachel Potter. Thanks to a Goldstar deal, you can buy tickets at 50% off the regular price.
The play tells the story of one family’s struggle living in the Shenandoah Valley during the American Civil War. This production at Serenbe will transport you to the rolling hills of Virginia. A theatrical journey of heartbreak and hope will erupt out of an actual Civil War reenactment, including over 100 soldiers, canons, horses, and an all-star cast of singers/musicians – all fighting for freedom and love!

The details
Due to a previous engagement, Taylor Hicks will not be performing on Saturday, March 23rd or April 13th.
The show is 150 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. It will begin on time.
The Serenbe Playhouse site will open at 7:00 p.m. so guests have time to enjoy the staged Civil War-era camp. A recreation of a Civil War battle will occur at 7:45 p.m. and will lead directly into the start of the show. The venue recommends that you do not arrive before 7:00 p.m.

The great thing about buying tickets through Goldstar is the Easy Cancel option. This ticket discounter allows you to exchange your tickets for another date — or to pick a new event entirely.
Note that these cancellation options are available as long as the event you purchased for is still for sale. In other words, you can’t use Easy Cancel if you missed the event, or if it has already ended.
If you use Easy Cancel, you’ll get Goldstar credit for the amount of your tickets, plus any service fees you paid.
About the venue
All of Serenbe’s performances are outdoors, and are held rain or shine. Your ticket will be general admission — no reserved seating. There are great places nearby to have dinner, and you can have a cocktail or purchase concessions at the show.
