The Decatur Lunar New Festival takes place on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Ebster Recreation Center.

The event features areas both indoors and outdoors, including the center courtyard and the gym at the rec center.
There is a rain date of February 23rd — but so far, the weather forecast indicates clear skies on Sunday!
Ebster Recreation Center is located at:
404 West Trinity Place
Decatur, 30030
This is said to be Atlanta’s only Pan-Asian New Year celebration — meaning it embraces the diverse customs of several different Asian countries, including Vietnam, Korea, China, and the Philippines.
This year, the festival features more space and a wider variety of cultural performances on a center stage.
It is a family-friendly event, with craft booths where kids of all ages can indulge their creativity.
You can shop at the Asian Artisans Marketplace and enjoy a variety of food vendors.
The highlight of the festival will be the lion dance, courtesy of Sang Anh Đường dance team, at 3:00 p.m.
