Take a FREE behind-the-scenes tour of the historic Dekalb County Courthouse, which sits majestically on the Decatur Square.
These tours normally have a $10 fee — but the tour docents are in training this month, and June is their practice session, so you get a freebie in June only. It’s a great opportunity.
You’ll learn all about the architectural style of the building, inside and out. And of course your guide will go over the history of the Courthouse and the Square.
You’ll even get a chance to peek into the attic and see the clock from behind its face!
Tours are hosted by the Dekalb History Center, which is housed inside the courthouse building.
