Dino Safari: A new walk-thru dinosaur experience at North Point Mall takes you back to prehistoric ages
A new immersive dinosaur experience promises to transport kids and families back to the prehistoric age! Dino Safari: A Walk-Thru Adventure is running through February 26, 2023 at North Point Mall in Alpharetta.
You can purchase tickets at DinoSafari.com.
Dino Safari features 30 life-sized, realistic, animatronic dinosaurs — including the T.rex of North America and the Spinosaurus from Africa. Each dinosaur is displayed in a replica of its natural habitat.
The exhibit also offers hands-on challenges for visitors to solve, virtual reality experiences, and an interactive space for children.
Dino Safari was created by Atlanta-based Imagine Exhibitions, in a collaboration with world-renowned paleontologist Gregory M. Erickson.
Know before you go
The exhibit runs Wednesday through Sunday in most weeks.
Tickets are for timed entry. The first time slot is 11 a.m. and the last one starts at 4:30 p.m.
The experience takes about 60 to 75 minutes to walk through. You can also spend time in the gift shop.
It is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages — meaning, it’s not too scary for little kids.
You should buy tickets online in advance to ensure availability. Walk-ups can only be accommodated as space allows.
Tickets are just $15 for adults and kids (there is sales tax and a $2 convenience fee.)
Children under 2 are admitted for free.

Our little ones LOVE dinosaurs. I esp love that our little girl does as well. I used to think that dinosaurs were a boy thing (we have an older boy) but I am so glad to see that our girl loves them too! Maybe we have a future palentologist? Thanks for all you do to bring us to the Atlanta events. Merry Christmas!

I read about being able to clone Dinosaurs using their preserved DNA. Would be cool to live with Dinosaurs. We would either have the Flintstones life style or Jurassic Park! I’m hoping for the Flintstones hahaha :D.
