I don’t normally head out to the “Best of” parties in the ATL, but I just got an invite to Atlanta Magazine’s Best of Atlanta party, so I may need to make an exception. Why? The food. And the drinks. Oh, and the music by 1970s’ cover band Yacht Rock Schooner. But mainly the food.
From 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, Atlanta Magazine’s Best of Atlanta Party will take place at Cobb Galleria Centre. The general admission ticket includes event entry plus unlimited food samples, unlimited drink & cocktail tasting, plus the ability to bid on items at the silent auction.
The list of participating restaurants include some that I’ve been meaning to check out, making it a reasonable option for sampling their wares without heading out for a full meal: Restaurant Eugene, Rathbun’s, Seven Lamps, H. Harper Station, Chai Pani, Smash, Common Quarter, Bocado, Seed Kitchen & Bar, Ted’s Montana Grill, Bell Street Burritos, Chay J’s Candies, The Fry Guy, Honeysuckle Gelato, Sprinkles, Octane Coffee, and dozens more.
Bonus: Best of Atlanta Party ticket sales benefit The Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit that offers a grant to support chefs, restaurant owners, managers, and other restaurant workers in times of unanticipated health crises.
General Admission tickets to Atlanta Magazine’s Best of Atlanta party are $65 in advance & $75 at the door. Want to go on the cheap? For a limited time, you can use coupon code “BOAFoodie” to save $15 on general admission tickets when you purchase them in advance. VIP tickets are $90 in advance or $100 at the door, & they include early entry at 6:00 p.m. as well as a VIP gift bag.
FYI–Each ticket includes a one-year subscription to Atlanta magazine. If you buy two tickets, you’ll get one two-year subscription. Existing subscription accounts will be extended. If you’d prefer to opt out of the subscription, you can request a refund of $5 by e-mailing admin@atlmagconcierge.com and mailing in a refund form. It’s a good read though, so I’d vote for skipping that step & keeping the subscription.
