On Saturday, April 7, 2018, the Sheep to Shawl festival will take place at the Atlanta History Center. From 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., there’ll be demonstrations of sheep shearing, spinning, weaving, open-hearth cooking, blacksmithing, & candle dipping at Smith Family Farm, plus live musical performances, storytelling, & more.
Sheep to Shawl is free for members & included in the cost of admission for nonmembers. Want to go on the cheap? You’ve got a few ways to save:
- Admission is regularly $21.50 for adults, $18 for students age 13+ & seniors age 65+, & $9 for youth ages 4-12). Bonus: Admission to the Margaret Mitchell House is included if visited within 9 days of Atlanta History Center.
- All active duty and retired military personnel with ID receive free admission for up to two adults.
- If you have a 2018 Entertainment book, you can log in & print a coupon that’ll let you buy one ticket & get one free to the Atlanta History Center.
- On the first full weekend of the month, admission to the Atlanta History Center is free for Bank of America & Merrill Lynch credit & debit cardholders (free admission deal applies to the cardholder only). The next free admission weekend will take place on April 7 & 8, 2018.
